1. An avocado mask
Avocado is packed full of vitamin C & E, both of which are well known to target and fight fine lines and wrinkles. Avocados also contain fatty acids that can hydrate and soften any damaged skin you may have around the eyes. To release the nutrients and rejuvenate your skin, simple mash two slices of the fruit, and leave to sit on under your eyes for 15 minutes before washing away.
2. Cucumber puree
Cucumbers are full of water. Hence, they are an excellent way to rehydrate your skin. The moisture will help prevent new wrinkles forming and also improve existing fine lines. Cucumbers are a standard spa treatment which can be easily replicated at home. Simply slice disks of fridge cooled cucumber and apply directly under your eyes for 15 minutes. This will help to tighten skin and shrink any enlarged pores.
3. Ginger & Honey
Ginger has been known to increase blood flow, and honey is a natural moisturiser. When these two ingredients are put together, they can be a powerful wrinkle fighter.
Mix one teaspoon of ginger and one teaspoon of honey in a bowl before massaging into the skin under your eyes (very gently) leave for up to an hour before washing away.
4. Olive Oil
Olive oil is an all around great product for skin health. Not only is it a moisturiser but it is also excellent natural rejuvenator.
Warm two teaspoons of the oil in the microwave. It’s important to be warm so it can reach lower levels of your skin. Gently massage under your eyes for five minutes. Leave for an extra ten minutes to allow the moisture to soak in.
